HOW IT WORKS.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose the tour that suits you best
The tours described on this site are within everyone's reach, suitable for both adults and children.
You decide what to see
Once you have selected the tour, identify the points of interest that most appeal to you and the stops at which to get off to visit them. For each itinerary you will find an interactive map that will help you plan your tour.
Set the length of the trip
Half day? A whole day? The choice is yours based on how many points of interest you want to see and how long you want to stop at each one (on the site, each point of interest is described to give an idea of what it offers) and remembering that at stops, on public holidays and on Sundays, a bus passes every 15 minutes and a train every 30 minutes (timetables change compared to weekdays).

Make sure you have a regular ticket
During the tour, to get on and off the transport, you must always have a regular ticket.
- With a maximum of CHF 14.00 for a day ticket, you can move freely and for the whole day throughout the territory covered by the tours (*)! Children under 6 travel for free, while children under 16 pay half price.
- If you already have an Arcobaleno pass for the areas covered by the tours, you can use that.
You can buy your Arcobaleno ticket:
- at ticket machines (present in urban centers);
- at the TPL information and sales office at the terminal bus shelter in Lugano Centro;
- by downloading the Arcobaleno APP, where you can check the timetables and buy tickets directly on your mobile phone.
